Ready Set Vote Bus Tour

Ready Set Vote Bus TourAs part of ongoing efforts in the areas of social justice and civic engagement, the FMU Social Justice Institute (FMU SJI), the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), and Black Youth Vote! (BYV) are partnering with the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition (FRRC) to support its work with returning citizens throughout the State of Florida by conducting the Florida HBCU Ready, Set, VOTE (RSV) Bus Tour.

The RSV Bus Tour continues the important work of registering returning citizens to vote under Florida’s Amendment 4 voter re-enfranchisement program; to educate, engage, and energize the communities surrounding the campuses of Florida’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), namely Florida Memorial University in Miami Gardens, Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Edward Waters University in Jacksonville, Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, and the Florida A&M University School of Law in Orlando; and to increase Black voter participation and influence in the State of Florida.
